Happy New Year from Redemptive Cycles!
We know many of you may not be riding as much in these colder months, and there's no better time to start shaping up on your mechanics skills than now when you'd rather work on your bike than ride it. We hold our Mechanics 101 bike maintenance classes the first Tuesday of every month. This month we pushed the class back a week so it will be held Tuesday, January 13.
This will be Part I: Tubes, Tires, and Wheels. Learn to change your tires, true wheels, and more! These are some of the most important skills to know when you're out riding and we want to show you how to fix your own bike rather than take it to the bike shop every time you get a flat. Once you learn some skill come use our public work station to work on your bike during store hours.
In addition to our monthly mechanics classes we are, believe it or not, still riding every Thursday night. Despite the occasional rain and cold we have a nice small group and we would love for you to join us now before the rides swell again when it gets warm. The rides are a bit shorter when it's especially cold, maybe just a quick ride to the Pigg and back, so come ride with us!
