OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Like any non-profit, Redemptive Cycles has a Board of Directors. These men and women are an awesome bunch dedicated to both seeing Redemptive Cycles thrive and improving cycling in Birmingham.
Founder & President
From a weekend coop in a small warehouse in 2012, Marcus built Redemptive Cycles from the ground up, after 4 years as Executive Director, he now sits as Board Chair.
Since he began riding in 1987, Danny has became a major cycling enthusiast. In fact, he routinely has ridden more than 5,000 miles a year for the past 25 years. As an attorney he also does a ton of great work defending cyclists around Alabama and plays many important roles with cycling organizations around the state, including Redemptive!
Mike is a 35 year veteran of the banking industry, and is currently a credit executive in the Real Estate Banking division of Regions Bank. Mike and his wife Melanie reside in downtown Birmingham. They have two sons.
Faris is the owner and operator of Cahaba Cycles, our local bike shop partner. He believes that the bicycle is a simple solution to so many problems in our society today. When he’s not in one of his shops, he’s pedaling around town with his wife, Ellie Jo and 3 kids, on the local trails or road rides around town!
