Alley Cat races rely on riders visiting designated check points with fun mini games. With no set route, things can get wacky, quick!
Grab a bike and come ride and explore our city. All types of bikes and riders are welcome! You don't have to compete to be fastest to have a good time and you could even still win something cool. Alley Cat races have a $10 registration fee with all proceeds going towards Redemptive Cycles! Ride rolls promptly at 4:00 p.m. CST but come early to register and get any last minute things needed for your ride. Alley Cats have no set route. Instead, all riders must visit designated check-points and gather proof of their visit. We'll give you the checkpoints at registration then you plan your own route! Ride with us and see Birmingham's streets and alleys in a whole new way!
We’ll have a speed podium at each event with prizes and swag for the top three contenders. For those riders who complete five out of six races, we’ll have a series speed podium and an extra $500 cash prize! Not a speed cyclist? Not to worry! Each check point will have an interactive component and there will be bonus awards and prizes during each event for the wittiest, luckiest and most creative riders!
